Web 3.0 in the horizon

After Google-Saleforce.com agreement and the prominent future of SaaS, Saleforce.com's CEO Marc Benioff in the DreamForce Europe event explains the term:

"Where Web 1.0 was about consumer applications that gave people access and Web 2.0 enabled people to publish their own user generated content, Web 3.0 is about empowering people to innovate using Web-hosted infrastructure."

Here is the original post: http://blogs.zdnet.com/SAAS/?p=514

I have seen a lot of companies work in Web 1.0 yet and they are testing recently some Web 2.0 technologies (see Internet Banking, for instance), other companies have gotten great benefits by using Web 2.0 and SaaS (e-commerce, social content providers, etc.) Now, Web 3.0 or PaaS is a great breakthrough for companies by getting more elements to boost their platform and reduce costs.
